Over the last few weeks, terrible fires have ravaged the Cape Peninsula leaving over 5000 hectares of land in ashes. The fire broke out in the Muizenberg Mountains on Sunday the 1st March, and fuelled by a south easterly wind, spread at a rapid pace to the Noordhoek, Tokai and Hout Bay areas.
